Can Carlson gates be used for small children instead of pets?

All Carlson gates have been designed, manufactured and tested for pets only and therefore should not be used for children. If you use your gate in an area where a child is present, the safety of that child is your responsibility.

Can I use my gate outside on my deck?

Yes, you can use your gate outside as long as the deck is secure enough to hold the gate. Also, to maintain the quality of your gate, it is recommended that you bring your gate inside during extreme weather conditions.
